This was a big puzzle: quilt blocks of all sizes and different kinds of sashing. But I managed it all and finished my quilt top made from the blocks I collected in the first round of the Cocorico bee. Here is my Pippi quilt top:
I'm so glad I also thought of adding a little scrap of fabric that has been on my wall for a long time. It reminds me of a Scandinavian summer, that doesn't last long but has a burst of flowers.
To work with these great blocks was quite scary. I didn't want to mess things up somehow. So I had a few startup problems. In the end I just went with Pippi's advice: Give yourself commands if something is hard to do. And I also went with Pippi's style: Anything goes if it makes you happy!
