Here's a little photo summary of several quilt blocks I have been making. If you're not really into blocks, you can scroll down to the books section of this post!
These wonky star blocks were for Linzi, one of my fellow Bee Europa members. From this tutorial.
These intricate solid fabric blocks were for Eva, also from Bee Europa. Eva provided a paper pattern for these.
This is the secret present I was making for Monique. A cushion cover!
Those were the blocks (thanks for your patience; I just felt I had to record these before I can continue with something new, like the first installment of the Pinwheel Quilt Along). Now for the books:
For money I got for my birthday I bought a pile of books from my Amazon wish list. Four have already arrived.
I´ll report later on what I make from them. I have the feeling I´ll start with some brownies from The Amish Cook's Baking Book first, but I also really like the look of the Bohemian Banana Bag in One-Yard Wonders.
When I was in the bookstore I saw this tempting book: the 10th and last Wallander. I couldn´t leave it at the store...
What are you making or reading at the moment?
